Concept;
7 day gathering, 7 chakra journey, 7th moon of the year,
for 7 years, each year representing a chakra from 2006 to 2013
The concept is to provide a sacred magical space and include intelligent, evolutionary programming, which allows for the participation and co-creation of those gathered.
Each sunrise an open yoga session and meditation is offered, followed by a workshop teaching or activity, followed by some personal free time to explore and be creative, or excursions into the local pueblo of Sayulita and the surrounding mountains, followed by a daily mid-afternoon vegetarian feast and perhaps another presentation or lecture.
In the evenings we encourage time to connect deeper with others, offer small performances or art, and/or share a documentary film in the Integral Cinema
7:7:7:7 Svadhistana will include :
- a jungle tour and discussion on permaculture and green technology’s
- the history and traditional teachings of king Montezuma
- yoga sessions each morning at Om Yoga (yogasayulita.com)
- an interactive Kundalini presentation on activation and grounding
- Tantra : intimacy, opening the heart, healing touch, breath, sacred sex
- sharings of the Hopi Return Path and native prophecy currently unfolding
- the importance and sacredness of holding council
- 7 day galactic Mayan Dreamspell intensive
- Toltec teachings exploring dreams and living in integrity
- Lakota and Nahuatl sweatlodge and temezcal’s
- ceremony’s and initiations with Turtle Island elders and shamans
- Aztec/Nahuatl medicine teachings on natural healing thru plants and foods
- an art, performance and dance festival featuring expressions and performances by local and international participants to celebrate our experience and release

thankfully we have various gifted healers and therapists in attendance offering sessions, many styles and techniques, available thru personal contact
we are blessed to escape winters frosty grip in a warm, sunny, tropical environment with beautiful beaches, the Pacific ocean, jungles, mountains, amazing outdoor activities, ceremony and sweatlodge, unique wildlife, within an hours bus ride to Vallarta, excellent clean and well maintained camping facilities with washrooms on the beach, a beautiful temple for hosting daily yoga and workshops, along with courteous friendly locals who support the event and welcome our presence in Sayulita.

…this is a family style event and environment …we are welcoming to children, depending on how many we have in attendance, we may organize activities for our little wizards as well …bring them!!
This years gathering focuses on the Sacral Chakra or Svadhistana, which includes the energy of kundalini, sexuality, passion, basic instinct and survival, primal nature and fear, represented by the color orange

it is important to consider booking camping space or your spot for morning yoga sessions in advance of your arrival to assure yourself a space….it will be peak season in Sayulita, so unless your spaces are reserved in advance, it could be booked or taken by other visiting tourists …further info on how to reserve camping and yoga space with be posted on www.greengrooves.org very soon

i have communicated with many beautiful people who are planning to attend the gathering from around the continent... seems as spirit has guided, that this gathering must continue and that it will only become an extension of what we created together last year
i will also post a list of the program and schedule for the 7 day gathering... along with a map of Sayulita and all additional and necessary information to help make your visit and experience something to cherish
everyone will be camping together during the week, possibly sharing meals, many great workshops, adventures, activities, art, ceremony's and rituals
the cost of this years gathering for the entire week of workshops and a fiesta on Saturday night is $500p ... Friday, Saturday and Sunday only $250p including workshops and the fiesta
...camping costs, food purchases, special activities or workshops and therapy's are not included in the event cost
...you will be given 2 wristbands...one for the event (orange) and one for the Palmar campground
each morning @ Om Yoga temple, Jill Sawchuk will be offering drop-in yoga classes from 8 – 9:30a.m by donation ($50p) and a special workshop/class for the 7 day journey from 9:30 – 10:45a.m at a rate of $1500p for the complete 7 day teaching … go to www.yogasayulita.com for further details

bring what you need to camp and live at the beach for a week...the washroom facilities are excellent and the local shops, cafes, restaurants and tienda’s have everything you need

i am suggesting to everyone to arrive before sunset on Sunday, January 21 if you wish to participate in the full program from the first day
the campground is called "Salon el Palmar" ...just steps from the ocean
… the owners name is Nacho
…he is very friendly and welcomes us to enjoy his space
…I will be present as of Sunday the 21st from mid-day til the end of the 28th, when you arrive just ask for Chris, and if I’m not there, settle in, I won’t be far
reservations by emailing me are strongly encouraged due to high season tourist traffic and i have secured special rates, it is possible we could book the entire
facility with our group ... but only if we act soon
camping 5-7 days ...advance reservations ... payment in full upon arrival $35 pesos/night including showers and washroom facilities
camping less than 5 days without advance payment is $50 pesos/night
the cabana on site is $800pesos a night with private washroom and electricity … a very nice space!
there is a kitchen and bar onsight...
most average meals run between $30 and $40 pesos per plate
...they are serving all meals of the day and are conveniently located on the campground site
...barbecue's are permitted, but no fires
the campground is quite secure, with fencing and personel on duty at all times
all the best...safe journey's...please arrive with an open heart and mind... and prepare to participate
