7 day gathering from Monday to Sunday
7 chakra journey, each day being a new color and energy
7th moon of the year
7 years, each year will represent a chakra ending on the Crown for 2013

the gathering will include :
- workshops on conscious lifestyles, new paradigm practices, tribal community, sustainability and natural healing
- healing and wellness provided by and facilitated by healers and shamans
- ceremony directed by native American elders and spirit guides
- theater and performance including presentations by local children and youth
- daily routines and practices for wellness and balance with yoga, meditation, energy balancing, breath work, sacred sound journey?s and vegetarian meals
- each day all activities and events including music will reflect the energy or chakra of each day and the emotions associated with it
- A full moon gathering will be arranged for event volunteers and participants the 13th, 14th and 15th to bring everyone together, synchronize the program and our intentions, and act as a 3 day set up event or work party
** all participants will be asked to arrive by Friday the 13th to ensure set-up space **

greetings fellow synchronauts,

a wonderful and activating gathering is forming this January (2006) in Xilitla Mexico in the magical oasis and surrealist garden of Las Pozas.

all are welcome, please invite those who you may feel will become inspired by this gathering including those who wish to participate

general participation will hopefully be shard by all, and currently, we are seeking visionaries, workshop facilitators, healers, inspirational speakers (spanish skills preferred), artists of all walks, ceremonial initiators, experienced builders and trades people and those willing to work hard to create an example of a new Eden

as described in the concept outline, the gathering will run 7 days for 7 years, each day exploring and experiencing a chakra as well as each year representing a chakra, and to host the gathering on the resonant moon (being the 7th moon in the 13 moon calendar)

ultimately this first year will be the Muldahara chakra representing the root, and its been discussed with core organizers that this year will focus on exactly this concept, to form the roots, concepts, ideas, construct a viable venue, hold council for vision and future manifestations and intentions, along with grounding the project for the following 6 years leading to the end of the grand cycle in 2013

it would be lovely if we had the finances and resources to see the initial program to fruition, but these plans were very idealistic and at this point we´ve decided to keep things humble and simple and allow the event to grow organically

therefore, if you wish to attend and participate we welcome you from a grass-roots, Mycorrhiza level...please plan to attend as an equal participant and contributor

we will not be asking any specific entry fee for the first year, tho we will ask for a minimal donation towards basic expenses such as necessary supplies including food, fuel, a small and humble soundsystem and stage area, transport assistance for native elders and whatever various supplies required to make everyone´s stay comfortable, safe and enjoyable ...for example initially we were planning to ask $10 US per day towards the event including camping ...but at this point it may work out to only $5 US per day (50pesos)

we are asking in confidence that all who plan to attend this year for the first event to come with positive and creative energy with sincere intentions to contribute and participate...this first gathering will lay the foundation for the following years, the ripple from this wave of intention and creativity will be felt and experienced at the future gatherings ...please come with an open heart and clear mind

this years gathering will run January 16th to the 23rd 2006...there will be a full moon set-up gathering to prepare the space for our friends and visitors the following week ...January 16th is a Monday ...the full moon is on the Friday and Saturday and Sunday before

the gathering will focus on vision council and workshops daily, including group activities such as daily wellness practices, jungle and mountain hikes, medicine journey´s, including work sessions to create a functional and unique eco-village for the following years

eventually our efforts will help to create a miniature version of how we collectively see and invison a new Eden or Shambhala ...therefore our creativity, love and passion will be reflected thru our efforts to build this sanctuary together

there will be teepee´s set-up prior to the event and perhaps a stage for performance and music ....Kaco, the owner and guardian of Las Pozas has become very inspired by the vision and project to such an extent that he has already built and completed new washroom facilities and a sauna....plus he has offered us the camping areas to create an Eco-Village for future generations

we look forward to hearing from members of the extended family and community as soon as possible so we can begin to collectively manifest this beautiful dream and intention into existence
