Adrian grew up with a musician & record collecting dad & at an early age showed a deep interest in music. Adrian's record collection quickly grew in size & scopes beyond electronic music because of his love for the immense beauty & intricate rhythms of jazz, soul, rock, blues, world, r&b, & especially funk & reggae! He picked up an electric guitar & played in several bands over the years. That was fun, but he knew there was something missing! Soon after, his ears started to perk up as he received his first initiation into the infinite field of electronic music. He began to hear the fusions of other genres in these fresh new soundscapes created by keyboards & drum machines. “Ahh-haa! This is it!”

Somewhere around A.D. 1998 he decided to get a keyboard again (first one since the days of his little Casio’s in the ‘80s). He found an Ensoniq ASR10 Sampler keyboard & an MC303 Groovebox and began tooling around with sound. These tools were later traded in for his current favorite piece of equipment, a laptop, kaos pad, & other small portable sound goodness.

His mind was now open to the miracle of sampler consciousness. Sound is infinite. This blew his mind yo! To assimilate the large volume of Earth music he began to DJ in 1999. At first, experimental, illbient, ambient, & dub were his main flavors. To that, he added drum n’ bass, breakz, asian underground/global grooves, & other styles of downtempo to his palette. When he found himself alive & surprised of no apparent apocalypse after Y2K, he decided to go back to college to study music. He met up with some fellow musician/dj’s & shared a weekly radio show on KAOS 89.3 FM in Olympia, WA for about 2 years. The two late-night radio shows, Roots Massive & MoonBass Alpha played all genres of electronic music & sometimes even incorporated their own live electronic improvised music.

Around this time (A.D. 2000-2001) Adrian became a regular guest performer with the legendary future global dub Seattle band Yoko Phono.

In 2002 Adrian joined the Vancouver band Alchemy, which uses electronics, accordions, female vocals, & keys, featuring Dawn Zoe and his female soul companion Patricia Kim. Alchemy has their 1st full length album due out this winter.

His other band, Dojo, consists of him & Patricia (aka dj Kriyatrix), and is currently busy in the studio working on various Nu skool Breakz, Global Beatz, Downtempo, Dub styles & more.

Most recently he has found the extra time to work on other material as a producer, and a dj, creating and spinning Dub, Global Beatz, Downtempo, Breakz, Ragga Jungle, Glitch-IDM, Ambient & whatever feels right at the moment! Always seeking more creative fulfillment, he has recently birthed a new project called BLIST, short for Bionic Love Infinite Sound Tribe, a multi-dimensional audio/video collaboration between him & many other artists (stay tuned, & be on the lookout!).

Now you can often hear these original tracks in the live mix. He has
performed at various parties, art gallery happenings, restaurants-cafes, & outdoor events mostly in the West Coast. Every “once in a blue moon” he has been known to put together a happening, the last ones being "Integrate" in Seattle May 2003, & “Integrate 2” in Vancouver February 2004.

He looks forward to performing at more & more conscious events that involve ritual & intention to invoke the magik, healing, & peace in these crazy mad times we find ourselves in. Adrian dj’s & performs music because he loves to share music with people & make them dance, heal, integrate, vibrate, & zone out in the multiple dimensions that music can navigate.

Adrian is one of the founding members of the Beats Without Borders Collective (www.beatswithoutborders.com) in Vancouver BC, which specializes in dj’ing world/ethnic influenced dance music.

Favorite gigs: performing with Alchemy in San Francisco April 2002 at a warehouse party after world reknowned legendary ambient producer Steve Roach. Dj’ing at “Get Freaky :: 4 room party with Freq Nasty in San Francisco May 2004.
